Wordpress for Digital Humanists Remote Workshop Series
Have you been curious about Wordpress, but not sure how to get started or hesitant to jump in? Are you wanting to setup a digital humanities project with Wordpress and need technical knowledge? Join the UO Libraries in their 3 part workshop series. We'll be diving into how to use Wordpress via UO Blogs.
UO Blogs is an easy-to-use academic blogging and web publishing service for the University of Oregon community. Faculty, staff, and students with an active DuckID can use the service to quickly create blogs or websites for courses, groups, or individual use.
Workshop 3 of 3: Working on Look & Feel of Your Website
This remote workshop will introduce learners to...
- Customizing the website theme (changing layout, using footer, widgets, and buttons)
- Using drag and drop page builder (DIVI theme) for additional flexibility and versatility
You need to know how to setup a UO Blog, pages, posts, menus, and how to add content to Wordpress to take this free workshop. We ask all attendees to review the UO Blogs policy before the workshop.
After you register for this class, we will write you with a Zoom link to join the remote workshop.
