Qualtrics is a leading platform for creating web-based surveys, collecting data, and analyzing results. This workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of online data collection, walk you through setting up your first project in Qualtrics, and guide you on what to do with the data you gather. This introductory session will provide a hands-on learning experience, equipping you with the skills to create professional surveys and effectively manage your data. A follow-up session will delve deeper, building on the skills learned here.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Set up a survey from scratch in Qualtrics
  • Explore various question types and design options to enhance your survey
  • Share and collaborate on survey projects with colleagues
  • Export and manage your survey data for analysis and reporting

This hybrid event will take place in the DREAM Lab at Knight Library as well as over Zoom. Registration is required.

About the Presenter:

Cameron Mulder, a seasoned survey expert with over 10 years of experience at the Portland State University Survey Research Lab, will lead this workshop. As a member of Data Services, Cameron brings a wealth of knowledge in survey methodology and data collection.
