Composer Spotlight Workshop: The Music of George Crumb In-Person
The Composer Spotlight Workshop series focuses on noteworthy composers who have contributed historically meaningful repertoire.
Join us for an exciting exploration of the works of George Crumb, one of the most influential figures in contemporary classical music in America. This workshop will feature an in-depth study of original scores, insightful interviews, and classic recordings of Crumb’s major works. Whether you are a composer, performer, or enthusiast, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to engage with the music of an artist whose legacy remains profound.
This workshop is free and open to the UO community. Join us in Classroom 366 located on the third floor of Knight Library.
