Introduction to R In-Person / Online

Are you interested in using R and RStudio but unsure where to start? Learn how to analyze and visualize data in R in this eight-session workshop series. This course is intended for absolute beginners or anyone wanting to review the basics. Each session will be an hour in the length and cover the topics described below:

  • Intro To R And RStudio – October 6th
  • Project Management and Help in R – October 8th
  • Data Structures in R – October 13th
  • Exploring Data – October 15th
  • Data Visualization With R & ggplot – October 20th
  • Working With Data In R Part 1 – October 22nd
  • Working With Data In R Part 2 – October 27th
  • Reproducible Reports With R & RMarkdown – October 29th

No prior experience with programming required. The workshop series follows this Carpentries workshop curriculum.

These workshops require you have R and RStudio installed on your computer.
