SUMMARY:Stargazer: A Cosmic Journey Through Space and Time
DESCRIPTION:Escape the stresses of daily life and embark on a meditative
journey through the cosmos in our state-of-the-art Visualization Lab\,
featuring Oregon's largest screen with an unprecedented 50 million pixel
resolution. This unique relaxation experience combines stunning
full-resolution imagery captured by the James Webb and Hubble Space
Telescopes with carefully curated ambient soundscapes\, creating an
immersive environment that transports you from nebulae billions of
light-years away to the intricate details of distant galaxies. Watch as
stellar nurseries birth new stars\, witness the delicate dance of planetary
systems\, and marvel at cosmic phenomena that reveal the universe's
infinite beauty and mystery.\n\nThis free wellness event welcomes
 students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members seeking a peaceful
respite from academic and professional demands. Whether you're cramming for
finals\, navigating work pressures\, or simply need a moment of wonder and
perspective\, Stargazer offers a rare opportunity to disconnect from
earthly concerns and reconnect with the awe-inspiring vastness of space.
The session encourages mindful observation and quiet reflection\, making it
an ideal complement to meditation practices or a standalone experience for
anyone curious about astronomy. No scientific background required – just
bring an open mind and prepare to see the universe as never before\,
courtesy of humanity's most advanced space observatories and the Price
 Sciences Library's cutting-edge visualization technology.
