Album Listening Sessions in the Douglass Room In-Person

Step away from your headphones and experience music the way it was meant to be heard. The Douglass Room's Album Listening Sessions at Knight Library bring the community together for curated deep-dives into landmark recordings from jazz and world music to classical, experimental, and beyond.

Each session features a full album played on high-quality speakers, accompanied by liner notes, historical context, and open conversation. Whether you're a devoted audiophile or simply curious about what you've been missing, these gatherings offer a rare chance to slow down, listen closely, and discover something new.

No background noise. No distractions. Just great music and great company.

Sessions are free and open to all UO students, faculty, staff, and community members. No registration required just show up, find a seat, and let the music do the rest.
