Introduction to Python In-Person

This free workshop series introduces the fundamentals of programming in Python, one of the world's most popular programming languages. Come find out why as you learn core programming skills and data manipulation basics through interactive exercises!

Topics covered include the following:

  • installing Python
  • Jupyter notebooks
  • variables and data types
  • mathematical functions
  • visualizing data with Pandas
  • functions, conditionals, and control flow

This course was designed with first-time programmers in mind. Not sure how to install Python? Our first day will focus on installing Python and setting up your coding environment for the rest of the workshop.
