Laptop Repair In-Person

Breaking open a computer can be terrifying, espeically if you've never done
it before. If you haven't opened up a laptop before, how do you know what is
safe and what should be alarming? If you have the steady hands and don't
mind technical instructions, but you just need to see someone else go first,
then this workshop is perfect for you.

We will cover what manufacturer manuals look like, a good source or two for
community guidance, and a couple rules of thumb for buying your next
computer to be made for user repair. Additionally, we will walk through a
couple of common kinds of repairs projected for everyone to see side-by-side
with the manuals, to really help cement what those line diagrams mean.
