Basic Statistics Workshop Series, Part 3: Basic Statistics in Excel

Basic Statistics Workshop Series, Part 3: Basic Statistics in Excel In-Person

Ready for an Excel crash course? Learn how to complete and interpret descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression in SPSS in this hands-on workshop. It is recommended that you attend Basic Statistical Concepts, or have a general understanding of the theoretical structure of correlations, t-tests, ANOVAs, Chi-squared tests, and multiple regression. This class will set theory aside and focus on implementing these concepts in Excel.

This series is intended to be a supplement that helps you apply statistical concepts to your research. It is a good fit for undergraduate and graduate students who have studied introductory statistics but need to understand how to apply these concepts in their research. This is the second workshop in the Basic Statistical Workshop Series, which also includes Basic Statistical Concepts, Basic Statistics in Excel, and Data Visualization in Excel. The Basic Statistics in SPSS workshop covers the same materials that this workshop does, only with implementation in SPSS.
