Install Night: Get help installing UO and open source software on your laptop In-Person
Are you having trouble installing open source software on your PC or Mac? Not sure what software you should use for your project? Or are you interested in installing software available to you through the UO Software Center? Come to the Data Services Install Night to get personalized technical assistance and advice from PPPM's Jay Matonte.
This service is available for both student-available UO Software and popular open-source software (R, Python, MySQL, etc.,). Although this evening will be purely focused on installation and basic user set-up, we will also offer advice on how to learn more or get training on the software.
