Master the Tidyverse 3: tidyr
Master the Tidyverse 3: tidyr Online
Remote Workshop. Have you been curious about R but hesitatant to dive in? Would you like to develop reproducible code for processing, cleaning, and visualizing your data? Join us for a 60-minute introductory workshop about data table manipulation in R Studio using the tidyr package. Tidyr is part of the tidyverse, a coherent system of packages for data manipulation, exploration, and visualization that share common design philosophy. Tidyr provides a set of functions that help you structure data in ways that will make it easier to analyze and visualize. Part 3 of a 6 part workshop series, Master the Tidyverse. While you do not need to have attended previous sessions to attend this workshop, please review the materials from the first two workshops to ensure that you will feel comfortable stepping into the sequence. Supplementary materials include a helpful tidyr cheat sheet and the R Markdown document with the workshop exercises.
R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics which compiles and runs on a wide variety of computer platforms. It has become increasingly popular among researchers in many academic disciplines. R is the most widely used tool for reproducible research, enabling open access to reproducible science. After you register for this class, we will write to you with a Zoom link to be good for all workshops in this series.
