Data Services Book Club: Hello World (Hybrid) Online
This term the University of Oregon Libraries Data Service Depatment will be hosting a book club to read Hello World: Being Human in the Age of Algorithms. Written by Hannah Fry, Hello World explores the powers and limitations of the algorithms that automate important decisions in healthcare, transportation, crime, and commerce.
We will be meeting in-person in the Sofa area of the DREAM Lab in Knight Library. Attendees will also have the option to join via Zoom.
Copies of this book are available for checkout from the UO library and through Summit
Registration has closed. (This event has to be booked as part of a series)
