Introduction to Python (Online and In Person) In-Person / Online
This three-session workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of programming in Python. This course is intended for absolute beginners or anyone wanting to review the basics. This series lays the foundation for attendees to understand Python code and begin writing scripts that apply to their work.
1. Setup & Python Fundamentals
2. Analyzing Data With Python
3. Visualizing Data with Python
The workshop series follows this Software Carpentries workshop curriculum.
These workshops will take place in the DREAM Lab. As of now we are planning in-person classes but may move this class online if Omicron infections begin to spread on campus. If you would prefer an online training, please reach out to us directly at dataservices@uoregon.edu.
