R: Introduction to R In-Person / Online
Are you interested in using R and RStudio but unsure where to start? This workshop is for you!
This first session of our R Workshop Series will introduce you to the basics of R and RStudio, including
- finding your way around RStudio
- interacting with R
- managing your environment
- installing packages
This twelve-session workshop series will introduce you to the fundamentals of using R. This course is intended for absolute beginners or anyone wanting to review the basics. Each session will be an hour and a half per and follow the schedule below. We hope to cover the material in the first hour, leaving the final half hour for questions.

- Functions Explained & Writing Data (Thursday, April 28)
- Splitting and Combining Data Frames with plyr (Tuesday, May 3)
- Data Frame Manipulation with dplyr (Thursday, May 5)
- Data Frame Manipulation with tidyr (Tuesday, May 10)
- Producing Reports with knitr & Writing Software (Thursday, May 12)
