Workshop Series: Building Digital Archives & Storytelling with CollectionBuilder In-Person / Online

Building Digital Archives with CollectionBuilder

In this 3-week workshop series you will learn how to create a digital archive website using CollectionBuilder, a template built using free, open-source software. The series will cover web development and methodologies for working with digital images and documents. You will learn how to make a free GitHub account and begin interacting with the digital collections platform. You will learn how to upload digital collections into your CollectionBuilder site and gain experience with the very basics of working with metadata. By the end of the session, you will have a live digital collection available to show anyone in the world!

Week 2: Using Markdown with CollectionBuilder
