Knight 139, located at the south of the Knight Library’s Reference Collection (east of the Solari circular staircase), houses two Creative Musicians’ Workstations, each equipped with a large-monitor Mac computer, with digital audio workstation (DAW) and music engraving software* installed, and a MIDI keyboard. Use is restricted to students enrolled in courses for which such music and DAW resources are needed. Users need to provide their own headphones/earbuds.
Reservations should be submitted at least two hours in advance of the requested time. The Music Services team will review your request and respond as soon as possible. Maximum use within one day is four hours. When you arrive to use the space, see staff at the Knight Checkout Desk to be let into the room.
